We do more than just therapy. We are committed to developing talent and providing a strong training and professional development experience among our therapists.
Working with Us
- 01
Clinical experience
We see all ages and a wide variety of clinical presentations. Whether you have an interest in a particular population or mental health issue, you can find your niche here. If you like to balance some specialty areas of expertise with a range of clients, Chicago CBT Center is a strong fit.
- 02
Supportive team
We balance independent clinical work with weekly group consultation, individual, and group supervision. Additionally, our administrative staff provides support and assistance for non-clinical work.
- 03
Training opportunities
Attaining and maintaining licensure should not be a burden. We provide a training and continuing education budget, attend conferences, and participate in ongoing training and professional development in addition to regular supervision and journal club activities.
- 04
Commitment to diversity and equity
The Chicago Cognitive Behavioral Treatment Center was built to serve the suffering in our community and employ staff, regardless of race, creed, sex, or sexual orientation. We stand for equity and believe that racism and bigotry are barriers to well-being.
Kayce Hyde Brott, PhDOne of my favorite aspects of working here is the emphasis on learning through collaboration. From our group consultation each week to on-the-fly check-ins with coworkers, it feels very mutually supportive and like we are all invested in each other's growth as therapists. This support has helped me to continue to hone my own therapy skills to provide the best possible care for my clients.
