Jon Hook, M.A.
Jon is an open and approachable therapist who brings warmth and humor to the process. He believes therapy should move beyond coping to become a transformative experience—one that opens new possibilities for living well.
Jon Hook is a PhD candidate in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University. He has worked with clients across the lifespan in private practice, university counseling centers, and research clinics. His clinical focus includes anxiety and OCD, phobias, trauma, ADHD, relationship struggles, life transitions, and spiritual concerns.
Grounded in psychotherapy research and guided by client feedback, Jon tailors his approach to each individual. He is a published author and researcher who has received multiple awards for his contributions to the field. Beyond psychology, Jon is a game designer, avid traveler, and swordfighter.
Effective therapy is not another method of coping, but a transformative space where old patterns loosen and new possibilities of living take shape.
