she/her/hers

Jess is passionate about helping children, families, and adults navigate life’s challenges and reach their goals for mental wellbeing by merging science backed therapies with compassion and creativity.

Jess earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Minnesota.  Since 2009, she has been dedicated to working with children and families across the Twin Cities, offering innovative therapy for a wide range of mental and behavioral health concerns. Jess works with people throughout the lifespan – whether you’re 3 or 93, she’s here to help. With extensive training in evidence-based therapies for treating OCD, anxiety, trauma, depression, and ADHD, Jess tailors her approach to meet your unique needs. She is dedicated to supporting children with ADHD and anxiety by collaborating closely with parents and schools.  She believes that a positive therapeutic relationship is essential for fostering meaningful change. By considering the whole person—including their environment, daily rhythms, and history—Jess works collaboratively to create a comprehensive plan that promotes long-term well-being and sustainable change.

When she’s not at work, Jess enjoys tending to her garden, getting lost in a good book, or playing with her kids and having fun with friends and family.

Therapy can be both fun and challenging. I aim to infuse our sessions with humor, joy, and genuine connection. While I rely on proven methods to foster lasting change, I also appreciate that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. What I love most about being a therapist is the creativity it allows—helping people discover unique solutions that truly resonate with their individual circumstances.
